Access control for businesses: turnstiles, gates and barriers
We design, supply and install solutions for pedestrian, vehicle and restricted-area access. We define the right combination of turnstiles, gates, barriers, readers, credentials and authorisation software.
Official distributor
We work with access control solutions from the Qualicard brand. We help you define which system fits your case and coordinate the installation and start-up with the brand's technical team.

Projects throughout Spain
An access control project starts by defining the passage
ACERIS analyses who needs access, where they enter and the required level of control in order to design, supply and install a physical solution suited to the environment and authorisation system.
Assess the access point
We review pedestrian or vehicle flow, available width, accessibility and whether the equipment will be indoors or outdoors.
Choose equipment and identification
We define turnstiles, gates, barriers or accessible passages and how they work with compatible readers, credentials and controllers.
Install and commission
We coordinate installation, planned connections and passage testing to deliver a solution ready for its intended use.
Documented experience in real installations
Published projects include the double full-height turnstile installed at EUIPO, ALFA speed lanes at Universidad Europea de Madrid and VEGA speed lanes at Camping Benisol.

A turnstile by itself does not know who can enter
The turnstile is the physical part that controls the passage to an area. You can lock or release the spin, but on your own you don't know who has permission to enter. To function as access control, it needs to work together with readers, credentials, a controller and compatible software that validates whether the user can pass or not.
If you already have access control software or a management program with an access module, the software provider must indicate or provide the compatible readers and controller.
The turnstile is the physical piece of furniture. It orders the passage of people, but on its own it does not know who can enter.
That is why it is not enough to choose a turnstile: you must define which readers, controller, credentials and software are going to authorize access.
Before recommending a piece of equipment,
we check your access
Not all accesses are resolved in the same way. Before proposing a turnstile, gate, barrier or reader, we review how the access will actually be used.
This is how we can define which equipment fits, what elements it needs and whether it should work with readers, credentials, controller or existing software.
Choosing the equipment comes next. First you have to understand how access will work.
-
01
What access you want to control
Reception, employee input, restricted door, parking, gym o PMR step.
-
02
How many people or vehicles pass by
Daily flow, peak hours, shifts, visits and simultaneous accesses.
-
03
How the user will identify themselves
RFID/MIFARE card, keychain, bracelet, remote control, license plate or existing system.
-
04
What the step should release
Turn, gate, door, barrier, electric lock, door opener or electromagnet.
-
05
If there is already software or credentials
We review compatibility before promising integration or reuse of existing systems.
-
06
What installation you need
Power, network, wiring, location of equipment and possible auxiliary work.

Frequently asked questions
We resolve some common doubts before defining an access control solution.
Does a turnstile work on its own?
Not as a complete access control system. The turnstile blocks or releases the passage, but needs readers, credentials, a controller and compatible software to know who can enter.
Do you only sell turnstiles or also readers and controllers?
It depends on the project. We can value the complete set or just the physical part of the access. If you already have access control software, you must first check which readers and controllers that system supports.
What if I already have access control software?
First you have to check what hardware is compatible with that software. In many cases, the software provider must indicate or provide compatible readers and controllers. ACERIS helps you define the physical part of the access.
Who installs and commissions the system?
ACERIS helps you define the solution and coordinates the project with Qualicard. The installation and commissioning is carried out by the brand's technical team or authorized installers depending on the project.
Can a door be controlled without installing a turnstile?
Yes. Many restricted areas can be controlled directly at the door using a reader, controller and a compatible closure, such as an electric lock, door opener or electromagnet, depending on the type of door.
Can a PMR accessible passage be included?
Yes. In facilities with turnstiles, tripods or speed gates, it is advisable to consider a wider accessible passage for people with reduced mobility, visitors, suppliers or specific accesses.
Can you also control the vehicle access?
Yes. We can evaluate automatic barriers, controls, RFID cards, readers, controllers or license plate reading, depending on the type of access, the lane and the surrounding conditions.
What data do you need to prepare a proposal?
We need to know what access you want to control, the location of installation, which users or vehicles are accessing it, if you already have software or credentials, and if you can send us photos, measurements or plans. The address or location is important to calculate transportation, movement and assembly.
Do you need to control physical access?
Tell us what access you need to control and we will review which combination of turnstile, gate, barrier, reader, badge, door or software might fit best.
Renting for turnstiles and access control systems
For access control projects with turnstiles, gates, speed gates or other equipment, we can study a leasing option through our financial partner GRENKE.
We work with GRENKE as a financial partner to study each operation according to the type of equipment, amount and conditions of the project.
Operation subject to study and financial approval.
